Over many years of working with financial advisers I came to believe it was impossible to find one that was truly independent and solely worked in the best interest of their clients as most worked for large financial institutions charging excessive layers of ongoing fees, or the few that were independent wanted to tie clients into ongoing annual advice fees often offering up over complicated financial plans in order to justify this. Finding Naked Wealth was a breath of fresh air!

After having a financial health check with Dave I am now much more aware of ‘financial health’, the areas on which I could improve and where I am already going strong.

I also have a much better understanding of my super and the best ways to use it and what I REALLY need to prepare for when I retire.

Thank you again for the opportunity to work my way through your “Wages to wealth” program. It feels like the year ahead has come into focus, we now have clear financial goals and as a result a renewed level of enthusiasm for our current jobs/roles which will ultimately help towards achieving these goals. I’ve also had several very animated conversations with my partner along the way, in order to keep him up to date with my learnings.

These are the real gems from my perspective:
- The fact that the program can be completed in my own time, online, and the opportunity to book a chat if and when I need it.
- My Money Plan – being a “living” editable document which I’ll plan to save every year so we can track our progress over time.
- Our financial freedom number – we always had an idea but seeing it in the document is very motivating.
- Super section – everything here has helped. We have several action items particularly
around contributions which we would never had addressed and now is perfect timing for
us to act on this.
- The product recommendations – including the “buckets”
- I love that you left the insurance to near the end. The calculator is invaluable!

In fact all the videos and materials are excellent.

You’ve really helped to demystify super, thank you! Not only that we are actually interested in
super now and I fear I may become one of those boring dinner party guests who likes the topic!
